Performance Oriented Investment Management
We launced our "Market-Neutral Statistical Arbitrage" (our "MoNStAr") investment strategy six years ago. The objective of the process is to achieve reasonable levels of return regardless of the direction of the market. Therefore we take offsetting positions that allow us to benefit by capturing market volatility and time decay.
Tower Hedge Fund LP - "Tower US Hedge" - Since it was founded in June 2002, the investment object of Tower Hedge Fund has been to provide long-term capital growth by achieving consistently positive annual returns. The Fund's assets are primarily invested in various hedging strategies utilizing options and futures on indexes, equities, commodities and bonds that trade on North American and global stock exchanges. The Fund uses quantitative analysis to identify those securities that have a statistically high probability of being profitable.
Tower Growth Fund – “Tower Canadian RSP Hedge” – On February 1, 2008, the investing partners in Tower Growth Fund granted permission to change the investment strategy so that it would be managed on a similar basis to Tower Hedge Fund. The investment manager has implemented this change allowin investors to enjoy similar returns to those in Tower Hedge Fund, eccept while being invested in Canadian dollars. In addition, this fund is eligible to be held in an investor's RSP.
Tower Income Fund - "Tower Canadian RRSP Commodities" - On February 1, 2008, the investing partners in Tower Income Fund granted permission to change the investment strategy so that it would be managed on a similar basis to Tower Hedge Fund. The investment manager has implemented this change except applying the strategy in complementary markets to those utilized in Tower Hedge and while maintaining the Tower Income Fund's primary exposure to Canadian dollars. In addition, this fund is eligible to be held in an investor's RSP.
We report to our clients on a monthly basis and provide quarterly statements. The funds are valued monthly and audited annually by independent firms.
